I'm building Optagen.ai to define Agent Experience: the discipline of how organizations design, measure, and optimize the experience that AI agents have with their digital presence.
I spent fifteen years as a creative director shaping how people experience the world's most iconic brands: Apple, Nike, Netflix, Microsoft, and Xbox. I directed motion and interaction design at the highest level, thinking constantly about how audiences perceive, decode, and respond to digital experiences.
Then something shifted. AI agents began visiting websites, reading documentation, evaluating products, and making recommendations, often without any human involvement. And nobody was designing for them. The same rigor that transformed UX over two decades was completely absent from the agent layer.
I founded Optagen.ai to fix that. My background in Media Semiotics (the study of how meaning is constructed and interpreted across sign systems) turned out to be ideal preparation for understanding how AI agents decode and represent brand signals. My MBA research in systems dynamics gave the work its structural framework. Oxford gave it its first international recognition.
What I'm building is both a company and a discipline: Agent Experience (AX), the practice of designing, measuring, and optimizing the experience AI agents have with an organization's digital presence.
"The only platform that monitors, builds, and designs for the agent economy."
Monitor how 11 AI models perceive, describe, and recommend your brand in real time. Powered by APO (Agent Perception Optimization), Optagen's proprietary methodology for measuring brand signal accuracy across the AI landscape.
The API layer that makes agent deployments safe and reliable: fact verification, agent identity and credentialing, ethical constraint packages, context provisioning, and graceful failure design built for production.
Consulting and assessment for organizations designing their digital presence for AI agents. The AX Score — 0–100 across Discoverability, Navigability, Operability, Recoverability, and Transparency — makes agent-readiness measurable for the first time.
"88% of AI agents fail in production. The problem isn't the AI. It's everything on the other side of it."

Fifteen years directing motion, interaction, and experience design for the world's most iconic brands. Led creative at HUGE Portland on award-winning digital experiences including the Nike FuelBox. Deep expertise in how perception shapes decision-making, directly applicable to how agents interpret brand signals.
⭐ Creative Director · HUGE · THEN MediaAn advanced Stock-Flow Consistent macroeconomic modeling framework using hydrological metaphor, treating economic flows as fluid dynamics with reservoirs, pressures, and valves governing how value moves through a national economy.
HM 2.0 extends the hydrological analogy into a rigorous ODE system calibrated to the US national economy. The framework integrates Navier-Stokes fluid dynamics into economic stock-flow modeling, producing simulation tools capable of capturing non-linear feedback in ways traditional macroeconomic models cannot.
Targeting journals including the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control. Engages directly with Stock-Flow Consistent modeling, complexity economics, and computational macroeconomics literature.
